Style Explorer Jam Workshop with
JUSTIN SANDERCOE & DARIO CORTESE
(17th - 23rd September 2017)

JustinGuitar and TPW have been running guitar workshops in Italy for the last 5 years, and every time we put together a group of dedicated guitar passionate players to share a week on the hills of Tuscany.

ABOUT THE COURSE:
The Jam Workshop with JUSTIN SANDERCOE & DARIO CORTESE is five days of guitar fun - we'll be looking at a different style every day, to (probably) include rock, country, blues, soul and jazz. You can expect 90 mins of class tuition from each tutor, each day (song prep and related lessons) and then up to 2 hour of late afternoon jamming with our resident drummer and bass player (same as last 2 years, Guido and Gianluca). We're still deciding on the tunes and the classes but we'll make sure it's going to be lots of fun!

We will stay in three country houses that have been restored, with a mix of rural and modern feeling. Very cosy and confortable, with big rooms, stunning views on the countryside. Each house has its own swimming pool. We will have our classes and jam session in the large studio of the main house, free to play all day! Totally immerse in nature.
Ifyou miss “city” life, Sarteano, a medieval town with a beautiful castle overlooking Val d’Orcia, some cosy cafes and a lively market it is only 10 minutes away, and, as always, the most fascinating part of Tuscany is just around the corner: Montepulciano, Siena, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni and the Val d’Orcia. Meals, prepared by the Abbey’s chef, will also be at the house: full breakfast, buffet lunch and dinners.
ACCOMMODATION COSTS:   Click here to go to the abbey's website.

BRINGING PARTNERS:
Partners are welcome to join you!! While you will be working hard with Justin, there are many activities to keep them busy.

Beatrice at The Abbey can help you in organising guided tours, wine tasting, cooking school… you can just relax at the Hotel spa and use their services, or simply grab a book and lay in our garden by the pool, or take the car and explore Tuscany.

If you are into art: it is said that one fifth of the artistic goods in the world are in Italy, and most of these in Tuscany, we are 60 minutes from Siena, 90 minutes from Florence, 30 minutes from Montepulciano and many other jewels of the renaissance and middle age.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You should arrive at Abbey of Spineto  BETWEEN 4 AND 6 P.M. on the Sunday of the beginning of your workshop (September 17th)

This will give you time to check into your room, relax and be ready for the first meeting at 6 p.m. where you will meet your teachers and fellow students. In case you prefer to arrive a day earlier (Saturday) to explore the area or just chill-out before the workshop start, just let us know so that we can reserve your room for that night also.

Departure is the following Saturday, after breakfast.

IMPORTANT: When booking your flight, make sure that you will arrive at your chosen airport not too late during the day as wherever you plan to fly to it will take 2-3 hours to get to the Abbey from the airport, and we have our first meeting at 6 pm!
